Princes Park Café has been open since the 1930s and had lost its clarity after numerous accretions over the years. As part of a wider park masterplan by Allen Scott, Kaner Olette were asked to renovate and reimagine the building which is surrounded by bowling greens, sports facilities, the sailing lake as well as the link back to the beach.

The arch windows and central ceiling which were hidden in previous iterations of the café have been revealed. Timber cladding has been added to the service buildings and internal refurbishment has restored the spirit of building to a vibrant location.
