Hampshire Mill

A barn in Hampshire is restored, following a fire, following its original external form with internal innovations within.

After a fire at the mill, Kaner Olette was asked oversee the rebuilding of and redesign of the mill and its mill race.
For the main barn, the design was to allow for an exhibition/event space, as well as a bathroom, changing area and a bedroom on the top level. A green oak frame was chosen early on and informed the internal materials within the barn itself.
In the mill race, a more industrial approach was taken. The original workings of the mill race survived the fire and were reinstated.
